Our History

From a Family Farm to a Regional Food Producer

Johnrosy Memorial Farm was founded in Abakaliki with a clear mission: to harness the exceptional agricultural potential of Ebonyi State and produce food that Nigerians can trust.

The farm began with rice cultivation on the rich floodplains that have made Abakaliki famous across Nigeria. Over the years we expanded into poultry, adding broiler and layer operations, and more recently a pig farm — now supplying households, restaurants, and distributors across South-East Nigeria.

Today, Johnrosy Memorial Farm is also at the frontier of agricultural technology — developing ClimaNest, a smart automated monitoring system designed specifically for Nigerian poultry operations.

Holding a B.Sc. in Agricultural Science and the Farm Director oversees all day-to-day operations across the rice, poultry, and pig units. They lead land management, crop scheduling, and biosecurity compliance — ensuring every harvest cycle meets the farm's quality standards. Their expertise in Ebonyi's soil and microclimate conditions is central to the consistently high yields the farm achieves.
